Decomposed remains of a mysterious sea creature were found on a remote Indonesian beach.
Asrul Tuanakota, a local resident of the northern coast of Siram Island, Maluku province, discovered the 15-meter-long marine object with a width of several meters, according to British daily The Daily Mail.
At first, the 37-year-old Tuanakota thought the giant sea object was a wreck when it was found on Tuesday.
Since then, the population has come to Holong Beach to see the bloated, colorless mass of the body itself.
The bizarre population speculated that the mysterious creature was a giant squid or the remains of a dead whale.
Residents asked the authorities to help remove the decaying remains, and the animal was believed to have died three days before it was found.
This incident was not the first of its kind. Earlier this year, a mysterious dark-haired sea monster was found on a beach in the Philippines.
This has puzzled locals who speculated that the creature weighing two tons was a rare, undiscovered marine animal.
Later it turned out to be a whale, but its appearance turned into that strange shape due to decomposition.
